LAST RUNNING ON THE MOTORWAY | SABAH BURSA / AUGUST 12, 2018

Simultaneously with the inauguration of the Gebze-Bursa phase of one of Turkey’s largest investments, the Istanbul-Bursa-Izmir highway project is estimated for completion in 2019. Being launched partially up to In Bursa Gorukle with the Osmangazi Bridge and the Yalova Tunnel, the project continues at a rapid pace with works on the trance of Gorukle-Karacabey Susurluk. LAST TURNING, LATEST VIADUCES: As part of the project 20 viaducts are completed such; 12 between Gebze and Bursa, between Balikesir and Kirkagac, between the 12 intersection of Kemalpasa and Izmir. And work is underway on 16 viaducts between Bursa and Manisa. With the commissioning of the motorway, it is estimated to reduce the travel time to 3 – 3.5 hours instead of 8-10 hours and decrease the distance 95 km in comparison by the national road between Istanbul and Izmir . It is estimated that cities such as İstanbul, Kocaeli, Yalova, Çanakkale, Balıkesir, İzmir and Bursa would be connected commercially closer and would be constructed economic relations to a higher degree by support of the highway.
