As a vital component of the transport corridor from Bucharest to the Moldova region, it is expected to ease intra-regional traffic flows and accelerate both national and international trade. The route includes modern infrastructure components\u2014including 6 bridges, 1 underpass, 2 major interchanges, a service area, and an operation and maintenance center\u2014all designed to safely and sustainably accommodate the project\u2019s full traffic load.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FIRST 3 KILOMETERS WERE OPENED TO TRAFFIC 6 MONTHS AHEAD OF THE CONTRACTUAL DEADLINE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the project\u2019s most notable achievements was the record-speed completion of the first 3-kilometer stretch near the DN2B interchange. This section was opened to traffic approximately six months before the contractual deadline. The entire project is now being finalized and will enter service on 27 November 2025, five months earlier than stipulated in the contract\u2014marking yet another significant accomplishment.<\/p>\n<p>With the completion of Lot 3 section, the A7 Motorway further strengthens the uninterrupted transportation chain along the \u201cMoldova Route,\u201d a critical axis within Romania\u2019s northeastern transport corridor.
