SOCIALL%u00f6sev Char%u0131ty SaleOne of the cornerstones of Nurol Construction%u2019s corporate identity is the spirit of social responsibility and solidarity. In line with this understanding, we collaborated with the Children with Leukaemia Health and Education Foundation (L%u00d6SEV), which aims to support children with leukaemia and their families. As a result of the meetings held in September, we organised a meaningful charity sale on the sixteenth day of October at the Nurol Construction Education and Activity Area on the eleventh floor of Nurol Plaza. At this charity sale, the products offered by L%u00d6SEV as part of the LSV Shop were offered for sale, and a detailed presentation was made by foundation officials to inform the participants about the foundation%u2019s projects and donation channels. The event was attended by Nurol Construction employees, group companies operating in our plaza and guests from neighbouring companies.According to the information provided by L%u00d6SEV after the event, most of the products offered for sale at the charity sale were sold out. The positive feedback we received from our participants shows how effective such events are in raising social awareness. As Nurol Construction, this feedback, which reinforces our commitment to social responsibility, has further motivated us for future activities. In 2024, we aim to expand our social responsibility activities by organising similar events with different non-governmental organisations. We aim to increase social solidarity and awareness through various workshops, training seminars and donation campaigns.16 October World Food DayOn 16 October 2023, Nurol Construction, in line with our corporate responsibility and sustainability principles, we drew attention to the meaning and importance of the day by supporting local agricultural products for the third time at our head office on World Food Day. On the basis of this special day, we prioritised the mission of preventing waste and drawing attention to the unique fertility of Anatolian lands. On World Food Day, we provided support to groups and cooperatives in Anatolia that need positive discrimination. This year, we focused on the %u2018Defne Women%u2019s Cooperative%u2019 operating in the Hatay region, which is trying to recover from the earthquake disaster. In order to support production, we purchased local products such as pomegranate syrup, hot pepper paste and pickled thyme and made an economic contribution to the cooperative and distributed these products to our colleagues, enabling them to taste the rich flavour heritage of Anatolia.Social71About The ReportUn Global Compact Content IndexApplicable Gri Sector StandardGovernanceSocialPerformance Indicators DetailsEcosystemOur Sustainability Approach
