ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
Within the scope of our projects, we take several preventive measures to ensure there are no significant leaks, spills, or pollution during site activities. These measures include
the following activities:
l Establishing procedures that include intervention methods for leaks and spills and conducting training and drills in this regard.
l Conducting regular and periodic inspections at all of our construction sites, including those of subcontractors.
l Safely storing hazardous waste in temporary waste storage areas to prevent contact with the environment (soil, water, air, etc.) in compliance with legal requirements.
l Collecting concrete waste from the site and transporting it to disposal areas.
l Creating temporary waste storage areas that are mobile and can be located in suitable areas
according to the site’s work schedule due to limited space.
l Placing spill response kits in waste areas and appropriate locations on the site.
l Collecting medical waste generated at the infirmary in waste containers in compliance with legal
requirements and sending it for disposal.
l Separately collecting and recycling used vegetable oil in ringed barrels.
l Separately collecting and transporting excavation soil and concrete waste to disposal areas.
l Locating fuel tanks, generators, and concrete additive tanks within impermeable containment
areas.
l Conducting regular maintenance of mobile fuel tank systems and keeping emergency kits on
hand.
l Storing mobile generators in large drip trays in the construction area.
l Using drip trays or absorbent materials during oil changes and maintenance of heavy machinery.
l Separately collecting waste oils by type and storing them in appropriate waste oil barrels.
l Establishing vehicle washing areas and refraining from washing vehicles outside of these
designated areas.
l Prioritizing the replacing of topsoil during excavation work and storing it in suitable areas for
restoration after the work is completed.
l Conducting daily and weekly checks of the wastewater treatment system and ensuring
compliance with the minimum analysis requirements specified in regulations.
l Installing oil separators at the maintenance channel outlet to prevent the mixing of waste oil
with water.
In our projects, no industrial accidents, leaks, or spill incidents have occurred in accordance with
the “Regulation on Control of Soil Pollution and Sites Contaminated by Point Sources.
