Shams Abu Dhabi, Construction of
Canals and Pedestrian Bridges Project

• Location: Abu Dhabi / UAE • Type of Work: Construction of canals
and footbridges • Number of bridges: 3 • The project which forms a
further step of the Shams Abu Dhabi bridges, Duct Bank crossings
and canals under bridges project, which was also realized by Nurol,
includes two pedestrian bridge crossings and relevant open and
closed sea canal structures, 2 outflow structures with relevant piping
and 3 water intake pump stations.

Ceyhan Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant
• Location: Ceyhan River - Osmaniye / TURKEY • Type of Work: Run
of river hydroelectric power plant with a regulator • Installed Power:
60 MWh • Power Plant Type: Overground • Annual Energy Production:
250 GWh • The Ceyhan Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant consist of
two adjacent Hydroelectric Power Plants, namely Oşkan and Berkman.
The project was carried out as a private investment by a partnership,
of which Nurol owns 50% of shares.

Construction of Bridges and Tunnels at IP44
& Sea Palace Intersections
• Location: Abu Dhabi / UAE • Type of Work: Construction of urban
roads, intersections, tunnels and bridges • Number of Intersections:
2 • Project construction was launched in October 2007, and it aimed
to allow free traffic flow around Al Reem Island, Hazza Bin Zayed
Boulevard and Sea Palace District, where Nurol had previously
constructed a sea crossing bridge. To this end, project scope included
the turnkey constructions of bridge crossings, tunnels and other
structures to be located around both intersections.

Shams Abu Dhabi Project, Bridges, Duct Bank
Crossings and Canals Under Bridges
• Location: Abu Dhabi / UAE • Type of Work: Sea crossing bridge,
sea canals, and auxiliary works • Number of Bridges: 13 • Length of
Constructed Canals: 4 km • The project includes the sea connection
bridges and artificial sea canals built on the group of islands located
in the Abu Dhabi coast.
