Coastal Road Rehabilitation, Algarabolli -
Misurata Dual Highway Section

• Location: LIBYA • Type of Work: Motorway rehabilitation works • Length of
Highway: 160 km • Type of Motorway: 2x2 (+1) lanes • The project consists of
the rehabilitation and reconstruction of divided highway superstructure and
of structural artworks.

Jumeirah Village North, Infrastructure Works
• Location: Dubai / UAE • Type of Work: All types of infrastructure
system works including sewerage, potable water, natural gas lines,

road works etc. • Project Area: 4.000.000 m • Constructed Road
Length: 48 km • Pipe Lengths: 372 km ( all pipes up to, 1.100 mm
diameter were executed in situ) • The project, located in Dubai / UAE,
comprises of all types of urban infrastructure works of a 400 ha of
land where 2.760 villas were to be constructed.

Abu Al Shoum (Al Reem Island)
Sea Bridge Connection
• Location: Abu Dhabi / UAE • Type of Work: Sea bridge crossing and
auxiliary works • Length of Bridge: 1,050 m (680 m above the sea) •
Bridge Type: 5 x 2 (+service bridge 2x2) • Girder Type - Length: 7 x 33.5
m, post-tensioned • The main bridge measures 40 m in width, 1,050
m in length, of which 680 m is above the sea level, and has 4x2 lanes
(+1x2 security lanes). The project also covered the constructions of
infrastructure including vehicle underpasses, mechanically stabilized
walls, 1,800 m long rainwater canals, lifting stations, outflow
structures, clean water pipeline measuring 450 mm in diameter and
rock protection structures, as well as lighting works, landscaping and
connection roads.

Kabul – Kandahar Highway,
Rehabilitation of 85 km. Section

• Location: AFGHANISTAN • Type of Work: Highway rehabilitation
works • Length of Highway: 85 km • The 85 km long section of one
of the major connection roads of Afghanistan being strategically
important for the reconstruction process of the country and located
at a remote location having serious logistics problems, had been
contracted by the Louis Berger Group Inc. of U.S.A. (as the General
Contractor) with the clientship of Ministry of Public Works of
Afghanistan. The project was realized by the JV with 50 % Nurol
share.
