| Boukhroufa Dam is under construction by Nurol Construction Co. at the El Tarf province of Algeria. It is located on the Boukhroufa Stream, 9 km south of the city of Bouteldja, in order to provide 125 hm3 of irrigation water for agricultural lands in the region. The dam is a clay core earth fill dam and it will be 87 m high from the foundation. Once completed, its reservoir will have a 125.000.000 m3 storage capacity. Project’s scope include 2.200.000 m3 excavation, 4.800.000 m3 fill, 82.000 m3 concrete and 2.800 tons of steel. | ||
