DESCRIPTION
As per the implementation contract signed on 27 September 2010 between Directorate of State Highways and Otoyol Yatırım ve İşletme, that became effective on 15 March 2013 a total of 427 km of motorway will be constructed between Gebze and İzmir. All works of Orhangazi Section 4, under the scope of said project, was carried out by Nurol, except for the superstructure works. The project’s scope includes construction of 9 km of motorway, 2 motorway bridges with precast beams, 1 pedestrian overpass, 16 underpasses, 17 box culverts, 2 retaining walls and 9 derivation channels. Over 6.000.000 m³ of earthworks have been carried out along with 90.000 m³ of concrete works and 8.000 tons of steel works. An interchange connecting the main motorway to the Orhangazi-Iznik State Road at Km: 40+000 and a motorway service facility at Km: 37+500 were also been constructed within the scope of the project.
