The project lies within the borders of Mersin Province and covers the construction of a 2x2 motorway that is 16.7 km in length, 3 double tube tunnels that are 6,910 m in length, and the Kılıçarslan II Bridge. The Kılıçarslan II Bridge is designed as a cable-stayed balanced cantilever bridge and it measures 410 m in length. Once it rises with its 173 m pylon height on the 40 m high caisson foundation, it shall be among the unique viaducts in the world.
