Renovation of the Turkish Embassy
Building in Tashkent
• Location: Tashkent / UZBEKISTAN • Type of Work: Corporate
building renovation • When the former Uzbek Ministry of Foreign
Affairs building was handed over to be modified for use as the Turkish
Embassy building, the interior design was entirely revamped, and the
building was equipped with technological systems, including security
systems. The project was undertaken by a joint venture of which
Nurol owns 50% shares.

Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey,
Banknote Printing Plant Project
• Location: Ankara / TURKEY • Type of Work: Construction of the
banknote printing plant of the Central Bank of the Republic of
Turkey, installation of relevant equipment, other works concerning
the administrative and auxiliary units • Construction Area: 7,916
m² • Number of Floors: 5 • The reinforced concrete structure of the
plant, containing air conditioning centers, treatment units, solution
manufacture equipment, safe rooms, paper preparation, printing,
photo reproduction, and mould preparation units, was designed
meticulously considering the weight and particularly the vibration
caused by the machinery on the floors. As the production quality
required a sensitively acclimatized environment, special covering
materials of required technical characteristics were used. Acid-
resistant, dust proof, and acoustic materials were accurately applied
to upholstery, walls and ceilings.

Restoration & Renovation of Head Office of the
Central Bank of Turkey
• Location: Ankara / TURKEY • Type of Work: Corporate building
renovation • Construction Area: 22,000 m² • As the historical
building no longer responded to the technological requirements, it
was entirely renovated, except for the outer core and the reinforced
concrete structure, in respect to the authentic design. In addition, the
courtyard was covered with transparent roofing and was transformed
into a lounge.

Bağcılar, Güngören Small Scale
Industrial Zone Project

• Location: İkitelli - İstanbul / TURKEY • Type of Work: Industrial
zone and relevant infrastructure • Site Area: 430,000 m² • Closed
Construction Area: 237,000 m² • Number of Workshops: 1,380 • In
addition to the workshops in the industrial zone, the construction of
relevant social facilities and all sorts of infrastructure works were also
undertaken by Nurol.
