PROJECT NAME: Lapseki Gold Project

LOCATION: Lapseki – Çanakkale / TURKEY

The Lapseki Gold Project is a Green Fields planned open pit mine producing Gold doré as the final product.

The process consists of a primary, secondary and tertiary crusher, followed by two ball mills in series, the first in open circuit and the second in closed circuit with a cyclone cluster. The product from the ball mill circuit, having a P80 of 90 μm, will be treated by conventional cyanide leaching, followed by a carbon-in-pulp circuit. Conventional stripping, electrowinning and refining will be used to produce the final product. Tailings handling includes cyanide destruction, followed by filtration prior to dry-stacking.
