With the project, which has abutment heights exceeding 150 meters at some points and was implemented using the push-drive method, the 16.2 km road around the dam lake was shortened by 15.5 km by overcoming the 685-meter viaduct. This shortened the travel time between Yusufeli and Artvin by 25 minutes. This has resulted in annual savings of 30 million TL in time and 13 million TL in fuel, and a reduction of 1005 tons of carbon emissions.
